Quest to get fit - the beginning

So  I have been trying to get fit for a long time…. Growing up, weight wasn’t particuarly a concern of mine , although I was in decent shape growing up  I never would really say I was “fit”..Now after 2 kids and 10 years after highschool , I am realizing I may acctually have to put some work into my body unless I want to continue to go downhill…
  I find my self confidence  and self worth drifting away as time goes by … I wish thinking about working out  was as good as acctually doing it  because  then I wouldn’t have any worries :)
  In our home we have been working on eating healthier and  that has helped some , but  I believe adding a workout plan into the mix will help get results quicker…
I used to have a fast paced job where I spent most of the day  running around and lifting frieght  and I was always  consistent in my weight  at about 145… even at 145 I want to tone up and lose about 15 lbs , but  after  a significant life career change which although produces less stress , produces less physical workout for me and  over the last few years imy weight has suffered and has slowly but steadily  increased. about a month ago I was at my hightest weight (excluding pregnancy) That nightmare weigh was 160 lbs….
A healthier diet  has taken away 6 of those pounds and I am now sitting at 154lbs…
The purpose for this blog is to  share the quest  from start to finish , and give myself accountability…Even if no one reads this blog I will try to post daily updates about my progress and document sucesses and failures…
Step one is to get access to a gym on Post tomorrow , Maybe if I am able to get access my first workout there will be tomorrow . Wish me Luck!
